Optimal Light | Limited Warranty Policy
At Optimal Light, we stand behind the quality and performance of our LED solutions. This policy outlines our commitment to ensuring your space stays bright and efficient.
1. Warranty Period
Optimal Light warrants that all LED products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3-5 years (the "Warranty Period") from the date of shipment, unless otherwise specified on the product packaging, Quotation or invoice.
2. Scope of Coverage
This warranty applies only when the product is properly installed and used under normal conditions. A product is considered "defective" only if:
-
The LED light source fails to illuminate.
-
The driver/power supply fails.
-
Light Depreciation: More than 30% of the initial lumen output is lost (based on $L_{70}$ standards).
-
Color Shift: There is a significant, measurable shift in color temperature (CCT) beyond industry-standard tolerances.
3. Conditions & Exclusions
This warranty is void if the product has been subjected to:
-
Improper Installation: Failure to follow local electrical codes or provided instructions.
-
Power Surges: Damage caused by unstable power grids or lack of surge protection.
-
Environmental Factors: Exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture (in non-IP rated fixtures), or corrosive chemicals.
-
Modifications: Any unauthorized repair, alteration, or addition to the fixture.
-
Usage Limits: Continuous 24/7 operation in fixtures not rated for constant duty.
4. Remedy & Resolution
If a valid claim is made within the Warranty Period, Optimal Light will, at its sole discretion:
-
Repair the defective product.
-
Replace the product with the same or a comparable model.
-
Refund the purchase price if a replacement is unavailable.
Note: This warranty covers the product only. Optimal Light is not responsible for labor costs, equipment rentals (e.g., lifts/scaffolding), or lost profits associated with the replacement or repair of the unit.
5. How to File a Claim
To initiate a return or replacement, please follow these steps:
-
Gather Documentation: Locate your original invoice or order number.
-
Contact Showroom or Salesman with a description of the failure and photos of the installed unit.
